The D-Day

The allied plans on a invasion in France began to discuss in 1942. Stalin thought a front should open in west so the eastside could let go of some of the pressure. (?) The spring in 1944 soldiers from Great Britain (?), USA, Canada and some soldiers from the occupied countries gather. The 5^th of June the first aeroplanes with parachute hunters began their trip to North France. 1087 aeroplanes is used in the invasion. 156000 soldiers landed in France and 1700 motor vehicle was used. The troops landed on the beaches, Gold, Juno, Sword, Utah and Omaha. The first thing the troops did was that they took over the germans bridges.
